Creative Dance: 4 years old

Creative dance is an hour long class for pre-school children who are 4 years old. Classwork focuses on improving gross motor skills, rhythm and coordination. These are taught and developed through creative movement, pantomime, music and games. In a fun environmnet, students learn socialization skills in a classroom environment through discipline and structure.

Pre-Ballet: 5 years old

The pre-ballet class is a hour long for 5 year old children. This class is a continuation of creative dance. Students begin to learn basic fundamentals of ballet. This class includes center floor, basic acrobatic work and many fun activities to further build coordination, rhythm, and timing.

Ballet: 1st Grade and up

Character - 4th Grade and up

Jazz - 5th Grade and up

Jazz can be added in the 5th grade.  All styles (Street hip hop, contempoary and musical theater are taught.  The class focuses on stretching, isolations and helps improve turns and jumps.

Tap - 2nd Grade and up

Tap classes at the Academy of Dance Arts are offered to students in the 2nd grade and above.  Tap develops rhythm and coordination while learning tap steps and combinations.  Students will also learn musicality, timing and tempo. 

Modern - 6th Grade and up
