The Academy is devoted to the teaching of dance as an art form.  A combination of the best elements of the Russian, Italian and Danish ballet techniques is taught.  National/Character, tap, jazz and modern dance are introduced at later intervals to broaden the student's education.

Childen's classes are of major importance to the school.  Parents must realize that it is important to place a child in the best school obtainable, as it is vital that a correct technical foundation be laid in the first formative years if there are to be satisfactory results later on.  In the first few years of study, it matters little whether the child intends to become a dancer, an actress, school teacher or prefers another field.  The training will improve body coordination, discipline, build character and give the student an appreciation of the art of dance.
